haha, so funny bro. Man this picture is amazing in its colors. Man...your bathroom, is PIMP, love those walls. But yea, this picture is comedic in nature and it makes something as simple as taking a dump funny. I know you used the colorful newspaper on purpose to distribute the attention around the room rather than only the walls. Great Picture. All I have to say is that, you're running out of toilet paper...haha ttyl bro.
i'm you're hero? no way cause you're mine! haha. honestly your work was my favorite out of everyone in our class. i knew from the first day when you had the teabag picture i said to myself, "wow he's going to be one of the really good ones that makes everyone else's work look bad." haha. your images have this kind of animated quality that's very inviting. the close ups of the payphone, card catalog, and chips make small, minor things, that people would normally disregard into these incredibly engaging photographs. when i first saw the payphone picture i wanted to go up to it and start pressing the buttons. also the boldness in you self-portrait is very impressive. it shows that you have a sense of humor and aren't afraid to put yourself in vulnerable positions as a photographer :-)
I hope you enjoy my work, and if you don't- I hope one day I'll photograph something that interests you. I have been told my pictures have an inviting quality to them, maybe you'll agree. My aim is to give my viewer something to observe and experience, not just something to look at.
I try to use my frame as efficiently as possible- filling it from end to end with color or pattern. My subjects also take up as much space as possible, to create a sense of intimacy and invitation.
